Day 25 - Don't Worry... Be Happy

Here is some advice that I am offering a young lady who's not familiar with the law of attraction. I'm sharing it because I think it's a good reminder for us all :)

  1. Beautiful post, Joanna! I hope you are truly enjoying your summer and the time you're spending with the kids. I cannot believe this is day 25 of 30. I found out that I lose track of days and weeks. I thought I would be participating daily in the 30-day challenge, moving up my emotional scale each day and posting comments on your site. I really live by the seat-of-my-pants, it seems. I guess the way I'm managing my job as caregiver to just-turned-4 daughter is a manner in which days and weeks sometimes escape me. I am happy to report she is the happiest sweetest little girl i've ever known. But I somehow feel I'm neglecting myself in the process. I am a bit overwhelmed and stressed just managing the family and burdened with debt. Blah, focus OFF that and onto WHAT I WANT: To be debt-free and have access to as much money as I need to do what I want, when I want. To have a lot of intelligent, like-minded friends - especially to meet some new ones who are spur-of-the-moment folks like I am. To be Healthy, Fit, Energetic, Free of stress and Full of laughter. Many days go by for me completely 'in-the-moment' of having fun, roadtripping, playing, carefree (High on the Emotional Scale). But 'Stuff' isn't getting done so I come to a crash of unprocessed paperwork, bills etc and the slap-in-the-face of 'reality' (Low on the Emotional Scale). I choose another reality: A reality where I can always laugh and play and my financial needs, home maintenance and to-do lists seem to easily resolve themselves. Just ordered an e-book called Getting Things Done and just went to Staples to buy manila files and a labeler per the author's advice. This is the first day of my Organized life. Smiles and laughter to all!!!! :^) Lynda
